About Hunter McCall
Born and raised on Talahi Island in Savannah, Georgia, Hunter grew up surrounded by water and boats. From an early age, his father and grandfather introduced him to fishing, sparking a lifelong passion that shaped who he is today. Spending his youth on the waterways around Savannah kept him grounded, focused, and driven, turning what began as a hobby into a full-blown obsession. In high school, Hunter began working at Hogan’s Marina, where he gained hands-on experience with boats, engines, and customer service. His career continued to grow through connections with TowBoatUS Savannah, where he expanded his knowledge of boating, repairs, and sales, eventually earning his captain’s license in 2018 and going full-time with TowBoatUS in 2021.
As friends and clients naturally began asking him to help sell their boats, Hunter and his partners saw an opportunity to do brokerage differently—by putting people first. In 2022, they teamed up to build TopShelf Yacht Sales with a focus on honesty, transparency, and a painless buying and selling experience. Hunter lives and breathes boats, fishing, and helping people find the right vessel for their lifestyle, whether that’s offshore fishing, family time, or simply enjoying the water. He takes pride in matching clients with reliable, high-quality boats and building lasting relationships—because to him, the best part of the job is seeing clients out on the water, enjoying the life he’s grateful to live every day.
